ABOUT ME
Biography
My name is Emma-Louise Will and i am an inspiring music composer from Peterhead, Scotland. I am currently studying at North East Scotland college, doing a HND in music. i play the piano and keyboard, and i look forward to sharing some videos of my work on my website. i have always had an interest in music, and ever since i was 5 i have had music lessons on the electronic keyboard. i am passionate and determined to succeed and hopefully my website can prove this to you. in the future, i hope to expand my knowledge in music and go to University to study music.
I have a grade 5 ABRSM qualification in music Theory and grade 6 LCM qualification in electronic keyboard. Through gaining my grades on the keyboard it has helped me to develop the correct skills to be able to play advanced piano pieces, and composing my very own music has now become something in which i am very inspired to do. i take my inspiration from the likes of Ludovico Einaudi who is a film composer. He plays piano and often has strings and percussion in his pieces, his composing skills have the ability to emotionally move me and i hope that my compositions will be able to to do the same.
i enjoy playing about with different chord progressions and seeing what each different one sounds like. i am inspired by the different emotions they can create, and i would love to be able to learn more about how music can effect people by creating my own score and play it for others.

The Full Story
I wasn't very old when i realised that a career in music was exactly what i wanted to do with my life. growing up, my mother and father both played musical instruments as well as my grandparents, so its no surprise that i began learning to play from a young age. From 12 i began sitting graded exams on the electronic keyboard and now in college i'm studying piano. Composing some of my own material is now something i am quite interested in and something i hope i can do well in .
I am planning on creating 8 tracks that can be used in a film setting, each one relating to a different emotion or action. Get updates on my releases on my 'News' page!
